Sales & Marketing

Permanent, Full Time

Location: Territory Based (working out of the Leeds depot)

Reports to: Field Sales Manager

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm



The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for sales of the company’s services in a designated market area to achieve the required objectives in the following areas:

  • New Business Sales Activity
  • Account Management and retention of Key Account Customers
  • Revenue Growth from existing customers
  • Profit & EBITDA in associated service location
  • Business Development where necessary

In addition, the Territory Manager is responsible for his or her adherence to company policies, standards and procedures.



  • Achieve Revenue targets in line with company policy
  • Achieve Activity targets in line with company policy
  • Acquisition of new customers to target
  • Build pipeline to ensure achievement of new account acquisition targets
  • Sell the full range of Walkers services to new and existing customers
  • Develop territory by identifying and targeting prospects through cold-calling
  • Develop and maintain current clients
  • Report daily activities and sales results on a daily basis using the CRM system as required
  • Willing to work in a team environment and take part in training and meeting sessions
  • Attend sales meetings as required
  • Communicate with the delivery drivers regarding client relations, and potential sales opportunities
  • Keep up to date on current Sales techniques and theories to increase productivity
  • Work on and assist Sales Manager on large-scale promotional campaigns for your location

  • Proven successful sales experience in B2B sales/account development environment
  • Computer literate with experience of CRM systems
  • Previous logistics sales experience is an advantage but not essential
