How to use the Walkers Transport POD Management & On-line Ordering System

TO BEGIN

  1. When you click the POD management button a new browser window will open with a login area.

  2. If this is the first time you have used the POD management & on-line booking website you will need to download the AlternTIFF image viewer to view the PODs.

    Click here to download the software - it will open the AlternaTIFF site in another new browser window. Please follow the on screen directions on the AlternaTIFF site to download the software. It will take less than 1 minute to download. When the viewer has downloaded please close the AlternaTIFF site browser window.

  3. Now enter your user name and password into the text boxes on thet login screen and press submit. If you have forgotten your user name and password, click here to e-mail Walkers Transport.

  4. When you login a welcome screen is displayed which shows your account name and options to search your PODs by Job Number, Delivery Date, Who The Delivery Went To and Order Number.

TO SEARCH/TRACK A POD

  1. Type your search criteria into the text boxes and click the search button.

  2. A list will be displayed of all the PODs which meet your search criteria. You can sort the list by Account, Job No, Delivery Date, To Order No, POD date, POD ref by clicking on the title.

  3. To view a POD click the yellow view button.

  4. To send the POD via e-mail click the yellow send button. A new browser window opens. Enter the recipients e-mail address, your description and your e-mail address. Click send to send the file.

  5. To search again click the search again button at the top of the page.

  6. To sign out click the sign out button at the top of the page. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact Walkers Transport on 0113 220 2800.

TO ORDER ONLINE

  1. Below the POD search is a yellow link for online ordering. Click this link.

  2. You will need to enter the following information in the form:

    • Despatch Date
    • Trailer Delivery Note
    • Service Type
    • Total Weight (kg)
    • Total Pallets
    • Driver Instruction
    • Collection Entries
    • Delivery Entries
    • Collection Name
    • Collection Address
    • Deliver Customer Code
    • Delivery Store Number
    • Delivery Name
    • Delivery Address


  3. Press Send Orders Button.
