Since we first started working with Walkers in 2003 we have seen a consistent delivery performance of over 99% year after year.
On the rare occasion that things do not go to plan, we find that the way Walkers communicate these issues to us and their open and honest policy very helpful to us as a business. If a problem does arise, firstly we are told, whilst the driver is still there, by our Customer Service Advisor Jill Oates, we are then given a chance to rectify the problem (removing the driver is always the last option). All the details of what happened, what was said and what the outcome was is kept on their system and reported to me every week in figures, graphs and written format. We use this not only to ascertain our delivery performance as a company but also to adjust or amend our own internal system where necessary to avoid repeat problems and keep our cost of errors down.
